How to make biscuit canapes

As a kid I used to love having monaco and krack jack biscuits a lot and mom used to make me some canapes with these biscuits for evening snacks . These are sure healthy but they taste very yummy even. With cheesy addition kids will sure love them. My kidoo haven’t started a proper school but she just love to have these for snack.. Salt biscuits are her favorite and seeing the cheese on it she was so excited to try them . You can think innovative and make a canapes topping as you like its going to taste yummy am sure. 

Biscuit canapes are super quick to make you can actually do this with the wafer canapes too But salt biscuits are readily available any were and they taste good too.. I am planning to make this biscuit canapes with different topping and post on my blog soon so wait for the variations .. Easy and quick snack Recipes

Kids friendly snacks

Salt Biscuit canapes

Ingredients 

Monaco / Ritz / Any Salt Biscuit – 10 Nos
Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp ( I  used vegan mayo)
Pepper pd – A pinch
Green Chilles – 2 chopped ( optional)
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
Boiled peas- 2 tbsp
Boiled corn kernels – 2 tbsp
Chopped Capsicum – 1 tbsp
Grated Carrot – 3 tbsp
Boiled an chopped  potatoes – 2 tbsp 
Mozzarella cheese – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves –  2 tbsp ( chopped)
Salt to taste

Method

  • In a bowl Mix  boiled peas, corn. potatoes with carrots, capsicum .
  • Add pepper pd, 1 tsp tomato ketchup, green chillies, mayonnaise,coriander leaves, salt, 1 tbsp mozzarella and mix well . 
  • In a baking tray line a parchment paper arrange  the Monaco or salt biscuit and add a tbsp or so of filling on top of each.
  • Top the remaining mozzarella cheese in each canape or biscuit.
  • Bake the biscuits at 150 C for 5- 10 Mins only till the cheese melts . Keep a watch on it while baking.
  • Garnish them with a drop of tomato ketchup and Enjoy.

    i used to add only tomatoes,cucumber n onion cut it in round with some cheese on top .your looks so colorful n delicious manju.
