Raita are one very fav accompaniment which is usually had with a spicy rice and mainly with briyani it goes very well. I remember as a kid I used to love raita's with chapathi even I used sprinkle generous amount of red chilli pd and enjoy them .Now I enjoy making this raita a lot to have them as is , tomato onion and cucumber tastes the best when you enjoy them with a spicy tawa pulao or any spicy briyani's . Lets move on to this quick and easy to make raita recipe.
Tomato Onion Cucumber Raita
Tomato - 1 no ( remove seeds and chopped)
Cucumber - 1 half ( chopped)
Onion - 1 no ( chopped)
Yogurt / curd - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Cumin pd to sprinkle
Red chilli to sprinkle
Stir together the chopped veggies and tomato ( as you all might know tomato is not a vegetable its a fruit ;)).
Beat the curd well and add to the veggies , add salt as needed.
Sprinkle cumin and red chilli as needed for garnish you can skip this step.
Serve them as accompaniment with any spicy rice varieties.
