Biscuit Cake Recipe | Biscuit Cake with Parle G and Hide & Seek
The first time I heard about a biscuit cake was in my college a friend told me this recipe and I tried the recipe at home I didn't have a oven then so what I did was my mom had my grandma's baati cooker which is box shaped specially made for making baatis on stove top it is not the usual one we get in the market the body was aluminium. so I used the cooker and made this biscuit cake as a surprise of my Bro's birthday , Back then I used to take home tutions for school kids and so had no prob about finishing the cake.That was the first time I made this biscuit cake , Now I have done it especially for baking marathon . My H is not a cake person still he tastes and enjoys a piece for my hard work, which I appreciate a lot. Of course he is my QC officer and my blog depends on his critics if it is a yes then it is blogged and if it is a no then not.. Coming to biscuit cake, this is a quick and easy to make cake which needed no additional flour very less ingredients and if you are carving for a cake them tadaaaa this one is pretty simple to make and tastes yumm and moist. Parle G - 3 packs
Hide and Seek Biscuits - 1 pack
Milk - 1 cup
Eno soda - 1 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 3- 4 tsps
Ghee / oil - 2 tsp ( optional)
Pre heat the oven at 200 c for 10 mins. Grease a cake pan with butter and keep it ready.
Grind the biscuits in the mixer to a fine powder.
Take the ground pd in a bowl, add sugar, milk and mix them well. Also added Melted ghee or oil for the extra richness in the cake
Add Eno at the end when you are ready transfer them on the pan and bake the immediately.
Add eno fold it in the cake batter and transfer it to the pan.
Bake the cake at 350 C for 30-35 mins , till a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
After they are baked let it cool in the pan for 5 mins and then invert the pan on a plate.
Enjoy this quick and easy to make cake as is or you can also frost them.
