checkerboard theme cookie

Checkerboard cookie were in my to do list for long and after making these beauty I was thinking why didn't I make them early they taste as gud as they look. I know am too behind again for the marathon but this time it is not the baking I had already completed my baking part still was unable to post it on time becoz so many things are happening around couldn't sit near the laptop for long. I feel amazed how these Indian bloggers have so much patience bcoz the internet is  so slow and also to cook something for blog means you have to think ahead of time and then do the grocery shopping , I miss US kitchen as I used to have each and every thing loaded in my pantry always . Now coming to the recipe this very simple one again the technique of making these cookies need some patience and trust me you will make them again and again. I had planned to make checkerboard cake too but had to skip there was no time .. I just loved the way they turned out and planning to make them again when I get back.
