Mehndi Cookie | Henna Inspired Cookies | Indian Mehndi Cookie

Indian Mehndi Cookie recipe

When was planning for Mega marathon I just wrote down all the bakes I want to include and after I completed found that most of the cookies are easy but needs a little patience , I had no time for trail and error , so went on in swing for 2 weeks. I myself couldn't believe that I completed all my baking before hand.  Mehandi cookie where in my to do list from the day I started my blog. These are so attractive I couldn't resist making them but again I didn't have the cookie cutter so I thought why not I trace the hand but still I was not so sure about it  and one day I got these hand shaped cookie cutter online, hurray  and here am with these attractive and very festive Indian cookies. I always loved having mehandi in my hand , My cousin was a great mehandi artist and she used my hand for practicing very well and I liked it too.

Mehandi in form of cookie was a challenge to me as am a very poor mehandi artist so pardon me if the design is not so professional. I rested the cookie for 2 days in a air tight container and then decorated it, by then all the hand shaped cookies were gone and only 3 cookies were left for me to take photograph. I took 1/2 hour to decorate these cookie it was so time consuming but my H loved the way they look and yeah I too but the only thing was I felt the designs where not too gud and started asking my H " is it gud ? really ??? " he said " wat ??? gud ???? It looks fabulous just go ahead .. plz don't stare at the cookies and give me to eat "  lol I had no other choice left now the quality check  was done and here I am with these attractive and Indianized  cookies. I made these cookies to depict My joy in doing mega marathon is not less than a festival to me . This was supposed to be my last post for marathon but though I have some more to post, am so happy that atleast the last post is on time. Now lets move on to the recipe..
