For this months potluck I had been paired with poornima of Cooking with Poorni and she share with a very refreshing and perfect thirst quencher for summer.. Stills it a bit cold here but I can see melons all over and picked one small cute one to make this drink. Thanks poorni for this super refreshing and perfect drink for summer. I love the combo a watermelon and mint gives a very nice refreshing taste to the drink . I didn't use any sugar in here to make this juice as my watermelon were super sweet.
Watermelon is one fruit for which I used wait for summer in india but here I can find them any time , yes the taste will vary but I can fulfill my carving for melon any time. I make watermelon juice often in summer and also add mint leaves to them adding black salt to the drink adds a great kick to it.Had this glass full of nutritious drink for my Breakfast today and I felt so good after having it .

Watermelon - 2 cups Heaped ( Chopped into chunks)
Fresh mint leaves - 4-5 Nos
Black salt /sindha namak - 1/2 tsp
- Peel and slice watermelon into medium sized chunks.
- Place the chunks along with mint leaves in a blender and blend it into fine juice.
