Koiyapallam curry

My mom makes  very delicious curries and this is one of my fav curry mum makes, I love to have this curry as is. I know this delicious  curry is made in many north Indian homes and My mom used to make this curry often . Yes it is with my fav fruit Guava is the fruit I love to have as is with some salt and red chilli pd spread on them and the second thing I like is having it in the form of curry. Guava is a delicious fruit by itself and when made in form of curry to go with phulkas they are just delicious you will sure make them again if you taste them once .. Yes  it is sweet and spicy curry not so loved by all spicy food lovers , I too don’t like adding sugar in spicy curries but trust me you will love this curry even though there is sugar in it ..

Guava as such has so many nutritive value and loved by every one . Mum used to make this curry for our lunch box to school and my friends used to empty up my tiffin box . I always had to request mum to make them again . I  had already posted Guava curry / Amrood ki sabzi  but there is some very little tweak in the method. Am so happy to make them again for my blog and giving them new clicks … Hope you find this recipe delicious and give it a try in your kitchen. Over to the recipe..

This is the only guava recipe I've seen for cooking,so I tried it, using only a teaspoon of sugar and Tabasco instead of the chili, and it's delicious. There's something about this fruit that blends well with the spices. Thanks.
