Pani and Raw banana stuffing for Golgappas (Come On – Lets Cook Buddies) Entry 46

Here am with another recipe which was shared by by my dear +Sneha Jain  :)..Thank you for the delicious and yummy ..all timefav pani puri recipe for us +Sneha Jain .Lets move on to this delicious street food recipe . Golgappas / puri for pani puri was already shared by sneha in a separate post as an separate entry  . Now here is the recipe of pani and stuffing for golgappas ๐Ÿ™‚ Let s move on to the recipe ..

Introduction

The complete dish comprises of a crisp hollow semolina puri filled with sprouts or hot ragada, boiled raw banana/ channa & spring onion leaves (instead of potato) stuffing, tamarind chutney and chilled mint flavored water.

Ingredients 

1/2 cup Tamarind  Pulp 
2 cups Water
 2 tblsp roasted Cumin Seed Powder
1/2 cup Coriander Leaves 
 4 Green Chilly  
1 cup Mint Leaves 
 1 tbspn Black Salt 
Few drops lemon juice
1 tspn Paani puri masala
 2 tblsp crushed Jaggary 
Salt to taste

Method Of  Preparation

  •  Grind coriander, mint leaves and green chillies to make a fine paste.
  •  Mix all the ingredients of the paani along with the green paste.  Adjust the spices and tanginess according to taste. 
  • Strain through a wire strainer to remove any rough bits.
  • Keep in the refrigerator for 2 -3 hrs before serving.

To Make The  Raw Banana Stuffing


1 boiled Raw banana 
1/4 cup Boiled Moong 
1/4 Boiled Channa
1 tspn paani puri masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp Chilly Powder

Method Of  Preparation

  •  In a bowl smash boiled raw banana, add all the other ingredients or can keep raw banana separately & moong/channa together mixing the masala’s 50-50.

Enjoy homemade pani puri or golgappa or puchkas
