BCAM – Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fund Raising Event

Hello Friends,

We are feeling proud to announce this useful fund raising event to bring awareness among many people and also to help people who are already diagnosed and need help with regards to the cost of the treatment.

  Here, we bloggers joined together to spread this awareness lot faster and in a wider range in the network world.We would like to sincerely thank each of our blogger friends to put this forward and as well as help with regards to the donation as well. We decided to donate to Susan G. Komen (http://ww5.komen.org/), which was created by Nancy G. Brinker in 1982 who is Susan G. Komen’s sister. She is “Fulfilling the Promise” which she gave her sister when she was dying. That promise became Susan G. Komen for the cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. To know more about Susan G. Komen and the organization please visit the above link mentioned at the beginning of this paragraph.We welcome all my friends to spend few moments here and if you feel its worth donating you can do so.

  •   You can either directly go to their website (http://ww5.komen.org/Donate/Donate.html) and donate in any method that which you are comfortable
  •  Or you can email Anu at anu (dot) healthykitchen (at) gmail (dot) com, and she  will reply to your email and take it from there.
  •  Event Date Oct 1th – Nov 15th
  •  Please email me / leave a comment here, before/after you do the donation with the 
  • Amount You Wish/Did Donate (This is just to calculate how much we have 
  • Collected at the end of this event, We are not concerned as to how much you would

Bake Fest – Event Announcement

Hi friends ,

Am here  with my first event which am hosting for my dear blogger friends :). Thanks to +Vardhini Koushik  author of Cooks Joy for giving this wonderful opportunity to host one of her famous event Bake fest ..  I have been baking a lot these days and getting addictive to bake every day and am so excited to host this event :). My first baking experience was in my school where i did home science and baked a marble cake recipe was given to us and the cake came out so well and there started by baking journey and i love baking a lot :). It feels so gud when any baking experiment we do and turns out delish.. so am sure am going to see some interesting bakes :).

Here comes the Rules  to take part in this event 

The event runs from Aug 1st – Aug 31st 2012 and the rules for the “Bake Fest” are:

  •  Send in any recipe which has been baked / broiled.
  • Only vegetarian or vegan recipes please.Only eggless Recipes plz.
  • Usage of the logo is appreciated as it helps spread the word.
  • Link to Vardhini’s Bake Fest announcement and mine is mandatory. 
  • If sending an old entry, it needs to be re-published with the links.
  • You can send in any number of new entries and a maximum of 2 old entries or archived post.
  • There will be three winner i will announce once the event gets over and awards will be given to the winner – Top contributor award, Innovation queen award and also Scrumptious Baker award to the winners which you can proudly share in your blog. Aren’t you excited then common and link on your bakes here 🙂

Announcing Home Bakers Challenge

We are a group of friends who love baking have joined hands together. Our motive is to learn and excel in baking, helping each other. One fine day, we were discussing about Baking and its techniques and suddenly we got an idea what if we start a group and bake together, so that we can learn things together. Thus this group, Home Bakers Challenge was born. This is how it works, every month one person of the team will suggest a recipe and all the members have to bake the recipe and reveal it on the said date. By doing this we get to learn new techniques and explore the side of baking which otherwise we would not have ventured so. With the support and suggestions from the group members this is possible. Do you find this interesting? Do you love baking? Do you want to learn new techniques? If your answer is yes, then come and join hands with us.
