Stained cookies are one fun baking especially when you have a kid around. These are easily customizable as you can see I converted them to a sunglass cookies .. Don't they look cool ?? And yeah they are also perfect for summer themed cookie too. Now moving on to the recipe...

Baking pd - 1 tsp
Sugar pd - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 tbsp
Vanilla extract - Few drops
Hard candies ( I used Jolly rancher) - As required

Separate similar colors of hard candies, in a zip lock put the hard candies and crush them using a rolling pin or a hammer.
In a bowl cream butter and sugar pd , mix them combined.
Add All purpose flour, baking pd , vanilla extract and mix them well till it forms a smooth dough.
Add milk if the mixture is too dry.
In a floured surface roll the cookie dough and using a cookie cutter.
Transfer the cookies in a lined cookie tray.
Use a smaller cookie cutter and cut the middle part of the shaped cookie.
Add the crushed hard candies in the hole , do not fill it too much only little to cover the hole is sufficient.
Bake the cookies in a preheat oven for 10 -15 mins or till you see light browning from the corners.
Once the cookies are done remove and let them cook comepletely on the tray.
For sunglasses cookies I rolled the cookies cut the earpieces , baked it for 9-10 mins then cool them. For the glass part I took the similar 2 stained cookies.
Melt semi sweet chocolate in a microwave and pour it in a ziplock.
Use this melted chocolate as glue and stick the left and right ear piece and also two cookies.
Be gentle with the sunglass cookie they may break if not glued properly.
