Smoothie Recipes

As the word explains it all smoothie are smooth sweetened drink made with fresh fruits  served with lot of ice crushed. They are not too thick but not too thin even, they normally are made with either yogurt or milk or ice cream , But it can be made lot of variation.A glass of smoothie in the morning makes it a wholesome breakfast for people who are in hurry every morning. I love to make smoothie when ever we have extra fruits lying around. We can make it as innovative and interesting as we want it to be. Mix up the fruits with some yogurt or milk and sweeten it with honey preferably as it makes the smoothie more healthy and tadaaaa a yummy smoothie is ready to serve.

Smoothies are always welcomed at breakfast time in my home but most often H has them after coming home when he is super hungry.  So I serve smoothie in the evening time sometimes. I made this combo of combining mango apricot for the first time and surprisingly it was so loved by H.. He loved the combo a lot and didn’t even give me taste.. But I was happy that  he finished it all.. I love to add fresh apricots in desserts , but most often I fear eating them as is as they are super sweet .. so I just combined the mangoes and apricots with some yogurt , a rich, smooth  refreshing smoothie was result and it tasted yummm as per my H .As I picked sizzling smoothie as the theme for this weeks BM  here is a sizzling one I got for day 1. Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#43.
