Sandwich Dhokla Recipe | Triple Decker Dhokla – Dhokla Recipe

August 19, 2014 By

Dhokla Recipes

I love dhoklas as you might know am doing dhoklas for this weeks BM and  this is my day 2. For day two I thought of making something more colorful with dhoklas and wats better than a sandwich dhoklas with 2 variety of dhokla  with chutney and ketchup, can’t get better than this ..  I try to make innovation while making dhoklas each time I made  rava dhoklas , corn rava dhokla , besan dhokla often but thought I should give a twist and make sandwich dhoklas making it more attractive… My H gave me lots of compliments on how I present it so well and I was in cloud 9 this is what we expect and do this much hard work for right 🙂 I was so happy hearing that.

Now coming to the dhoklas here I have used  rava dhokla and besan dhokla as the base. Gujarati dhoklas can be made it many different ways and with different ingredients makes it more interesting. When I made Millet dhokla , I was thinking what kind of dhokla should I do next and thought I should keep it simple but still it should look colorful .. Now a days I got this color mania , I want my food to have all the colors lolz don’t know whether it is bcoz the rainy season .. You wud have seen my last few post filled with colors .. Ok enough of the blah blah .. lets quickly move on to the recipe.. Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#43.

  • You can serve this dhokla as it is .

   Note:

  • if you don’t have a steamer you can just use a vessel in which you can place your cake pan .Just fill water in the vessel place a bowl(or any stand which fits )  inverted at the bottom , see to that you can place the cake pan on top of the bowl or stand. The cake pan should get direct contact with the boiling water in the vessel.
