Kaju Pista Roll Recipe | Cashew Pistachio Rolls ~Indian Festival Sweets

Festivals brings out lots of old memories and happiness, sweets make these festivals more exciting if you have a big sweet tooth . As for in India sweet is considered very auspicious when made offering god. I have seen and amazed of the varieties of sweet we get in a sweet stall but I have never thought I will try it at home. The fruit shaped sweets were more attractive to my eye and I tried my hand on making a kaju mango and kaju apple   and every body surrounding us loved it. So coming today’s recipe I made kaju pista roll and was really happy with the outcome. When my H saw these he said from which sweet shop did you buy its yummy  ðŸ˜› and I proudly told him that it is made my me . 

Kaju pista roll is basically combining two different nut sweet the white part is the traditional kaju katli and the middle part is a  mix of pista pd and condensed milk.  They really tasted yummy like the store bought one would do. Kaju Pista Roll

  Ingredients
  Kaju katli dough ( Knead them well till smooth)
  Check my Kaju katli post for the recipe

  Pista pd – 1 cup

  Condensed Milk – 1/4 cup ( adjust to taste )
  Green Color – 1/4 tsp or so

  Method
  • Prepare the pista dough before making kaju katli dough.
  • In a bowl mix in pista pd, condensed milk, green color and make a soft dough.
  • Keep it aside and make the kaju katli dough check here to make kaju katli.
  • Roll out the kaju katli dough to a rectangle.
  • Take the prepared pista dough and give it a long cylindrical shape.
  • The length should be equal to the rolled. rectangle kaju dough.
  • Place the cylindrical shaped pista dough in on corner on the kaju dough.
  • Start rolling in till the end of the rectangle.
  • Cut the edges and make 2-3 ‘inch long pieces.
  • Store it in a air tight container. Stay good for 4-5 days.
