Sprinkle cookies where in my to do list , I wanted to bake them for Christmas. They are truly festive cookie which you want to share with all you friends . I have shared all my cookies and cakes which I made for the marathon , they had showered me with so much compliments for my bakes  so glad that I was around such motivating audience. Now coming to the cookie I used the christmas themed non pareils  you can use any mixed colored  sprinkles as you like. They taste so yummy and no need to say the chocolate in it will sure attract kids to try them. I made these cookies twice as when I made first time it was gone before I even too a photograph so I made them again and took some pics . Now moving on to the recipe…

Chocolate Covered Sprinkle Cookie

  Ingredients
  All purpose Flour – 1 1/4 cups
  Icing Sugar – 1/2 cup
  Room temperature Butter – 1 stick ( 1/2 cup) 
  Vanilla extract – few drops 
  Milk – 1 – 2 tbsp
  Non pareils or sprinkles – 3 tbsp
  Semi sweet chocolate chips – 1 cup
  Method 
  • In a bowl cream sugar and butter till combined.
  • Add vanilla extract, all purpose flour, Milk and Mix them to form a smooth dough.
  • Add the non pareils or sprinkle and mix them gently in the dough.
  • Roll the dough or a parchment or wax paper and cut them to disired shape using a cookie cutter or a lid.
  • Pre heat the oven at 350 F and Bake them in same temperature for 10 -15 mins.
  • After they are done let them cool a bit and then transfer them to wire rack to cool completely.
  • When the cookies are cool completely , melt the semi sweet chocolate chips in microwave for 30 secs.
  • Mix and microwave for 30 secs more and then again mix.
  • Dip the cookie half way through and place them on a parchment paper.ĵ
  • Sprinkle some non pareils on the top of chocolate and let them set.
  • Do the same for other cookies and after they are set store it in a airtight container.
