Diwali Recipes

Diwali is festival of lights celebrated all over India in a very grand manner and this is my fav festival which I love to celebrate. It brings out some nostalgic memories on how we used celebrate this festival with so much joy and waiting a year for this festival is always worth it.On this auspicious day people light up diyas/ candles and decorate the home with it, We do laxmi pooja and not to forget we eat a lot 😉 .. All those palagarams or sweets and snacks we make for this festival are shared to our relatives, neighbors and what a fun we have in sharing them I will be missing the sharing part this year. Its Diwali for us on 23rd but the whole tamilnadu and south India will be celebrating it on 22nd . Mom generally makes thiyari and mitha chawal especially on diwali day and we offer sweet pedas as prasad to laxmi ji. I will miss the fireworks part here but will still celebrate the festival with full joy :)Wish all
